Mt medical transcription is the process of conversion of audio file or sound in the text form resulting a record of the individual's.
Process
In developed countries the hospital and the health professionals are trained for speeching the whole patient's condition as audio is recorded and send to medical transcription companies. These companies are having medical transcriptionist (MT), senior medical transcriptionist (SMT) and quality analyst (QA). These professionals are hearing the audio or sound of the file which is send by hospitals, while writing this on word in form of text by typing on computer.
After these processes a record is created and send to the hospital for patients information about their problems and treatment of their disease.
These record is used as a legal document for health insurance companies to describing expenses.
Qualifications
MTs have only knowledge of
1.English with punctuation
2. Medical terminology
3. Pharmacology (drug's name)
4. Computer typing skill
MTs having no any list of qualifications if you passed 10+2 or You are biology graduates you can.
There is also several companies or institutions which give training for MT.
